Linda Roast
"I've been inspired to paint dogs because of my own relationship with Edie (short for Edith), my Parson Jack Russell. She is such a personality with different moods and looks, a small representation of humans in the raw. My paintings try to capture these differences in a lose yet energetic way, giving importance to the personality rather than just an accurate visual representation."
Linda Roast BA, studied Art and Design at St Martin's School of Art, London 1974 - 77. She worked successfully in design for many years whilst continuing her passion for Life Drawing. Interested in the freedom and vitality of line, her pastel Life work is completed with passion and speed.
